Event Details: Campus Screening for Jewish Genetic Diseases

Description: DETAILS: This screening event includes genetic counseling and a blood draw to test for carrier status for diseases that could affect your offspring. Screening will include 18 Jewish genetic disorders and optional screening for diseases that are common in all populations. Results will be strictly confidential, and you will find them out by mail in around 6 weeks.COSTS: All commercial and student insurances are accepted. Depending on the individual plan, there may be a co-pay of up to $99. Subsidizes available in cases of financial hardship. [Note--> we are working on finding out the cost with Aetna Student Health insurance ahead of time, just so you can know.] DAY OF EVENT: Please bring your student ID card and insurance card.
