The wireless network enables you to connect your laptop computer to the Internet from several locations on campus without having to plug in a data cable. The wireless network supplements the existing wired network and gives you more flexibility in choosing a connection location.

Wireless access points are installed in Everett Lounge, the TC Cafeteria, and in several classrooms; many additional wireless "hot spots" are planned. Wireless users can roam throughout the coverage zones and remain connected to the network.

The TC wireless network can be used by TC students, faculty, and staff, as well as by TC guests. We ask you to please register your wireless computer (see link above). As with all computers attached to the TC network, we require that the software on your computer be kept up-to-date with patches, and that you have current antivirus software installed.
