If you are eligible for federal financial aid and you have satisfied your requirements, the funds you have accepted will be applied to your account as payment(s). That being said, in the Summer 1 term, you may receive a refund, which you will need to save to assist you with the payments for the subsequent semesters.

Intensive Summer Teacher Education Programs (INSTEP)/(HYBRID)

The INSTEP program is a summer intensive program. The HYBRID program is similarly designed but includes some online curriculum. Most students only attend for summer sessions for two to three consecutive summers, however, they may also attend for the Fall and Spring terms in between. Students who need financial aid in terms other than Summer must contact the INSTEP program liaison at the Office of Financial Aid to ensure that their aid is set up appropriately.

Students beginning the INSTEP/HYBRID program during Summer 2018 must complete the 2017-2018 FAFSA and the 2018-2019 FAFSA using TC's school code (G03979). Note that students must be enrolled in at least six credit hours (or the equivalent) per term to be eligible for federal aid of any kind. Please be aware that the 2017-2018 FAFSA will not be available after June 30, 2018.

Students must also complete the TC Scholarship Application to be eligible for any institutional aid, including the INSTEP/HYBRID scholarship as detailed below. It is a part of the admissions application. Note: Institutional scholarships typically pay only towards tuition (not fees) charges.

The tuition rate changes each academic year. Please refer to our Cost of Attendance page for more information on rates and fees.
