The Office of Residential Services
The Office of Residential Services, located at 1230 Amsterdam Avenue (Whittier Hall 1B), offers short and long term on-campus housing for single students and students with families. In order to reside in student housing, students must complete 24 credits (full-time status) within a 12 month period.

There are approximately 5,000 students enrolled at Teachers College. About 77 percent are women, 12 percent are African American, 11 percent are Asian American, and 7 percent are Latino/a. The student body is composed of 13 percent international students from eighty different countries and 87 percent domestic students from all fifty states.
