Audra DiPadova Wilford (M.A. ’05) Named one of L’Oreal Paris’ Women of Worth for 2014

TC alumna Audra DiPadova Wilford (M.A. ’05) is unfortunately all-too-familiar with the pediatric healthcare system and its difficulties – her seven-year-old son has been fighting brain cancer for more than three years. Inspired by her own son’s struggle and her desire to provide all families with the tools to thrive in critical care situations, Audra co-founded MaxLove Project, a nonprofit that provides whole-body wellness resources, education and research to help families facing life-threatening conditions. AND NOW AUDRA HAS BEEN NAMED ONE OF L’OREAL PARIS’ WOMEN OF WORTH FOR 2014!

Every year, L’Oreal recognizes ten women making extraordinary impacts, awarding their respective causes $10,000 each. Voting is now open to the public to determine which woman will receive an extra $25,000 to support her cause. All the honorees and the grand-prize winner will be celebrated at a NYC gala on December 2 – let’s help get Audra to the podium! You can vote for Audra and MaxLove project at bit.ly/AudraWOW. Voting is open until November 21.

Audra received her M.A. in Philosophy and Education at TC and has been working as an educator, specializing in student leadership development in higher education for more than 12 years. Previously, Audra worked in the restaurant industry, which informed her belief in the importance of nutrition and other integrative approaches to health.
