In October, Deirdre Reznik joined the Office of External Affairs as the new Publications Coordinator.

Reznik comes to Teachers College after several years working with print and online media, most recently at Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund, a national, non-profit legal organization that works for the civil rights of lesbians, gay men and people with HIV and AIDS.

As Lambda's Education Coordinator, she directed the production of the organization's legal and educational printed materials. In addition, Reznik developed and managed the organization's large, database-driven Web site, www.lambdalegal.org. Prior to this, Reznik coordinated publications for the Hudson Valley Press in Newburgh, New York.

Reznik will develop and produce enrollment and student recruitment publications, including such favorites as TC Today, the TC course catalog, and much more. Reznik will also work with Web Editor Paul Acquaro to help keep the Newsbureau Web site updated and interesting.

"I'm excited to have Deirdre working with External Affairs-especially on the Web," said Acquaro. "With her previous Web experience and eye for design, I think we are going to be able to do nice things with the Newsbureau site."

She added, "I am thrilled to be a part of Teachers College and the fantastic team in External Affairs and I look forward to continuing my work in both print and online media for this fine institution."
