The Simsbury Education Enhancement Foundation has included the TC Reading & Writing Project as one of the special programs devised by Simsbury (CT) public school teachers for which it will allocate financial support. Included in its distribution of more than $10,000 of funding is a Project program within all five of that district's elementary schools designed to enable teachers to work collaboratively while increasing reading achievement, comprehension test scores and independent reading by students at both home and school.

The Foundation is a tax-exempt corporation that provides financial assistance through grants to teachers for new educational technologies, enrichment programs and
special projects not ordinarily included in the board of education
budget.
