The Vice President for Finance & Administration, Fred Schnur, held the annual Staff Appreciation Barbecue on August 22nd in Russell Courtyard and the Sage Dining Hall. On Friday at High Noon many TC employees headed on down to the TC Corral, where "they dished up some of the best tastin' barbecue this side of the Mississippi." Decked out in inflatable cacti, wooden fences, and wagon wheels, the courtyard was a dude ranch in the middle of New York City. Donning cowboy hats and bandanas, people lined up for corn, hot dogs, fried chicken and baked potatoes while the deejay spun some country tunes. Some won TC prizes in a raffle, but everyone went home with a full stomach and mementos from the day. Pictured at the grill are Schnur, Steve Weinberg, Director of Budget and Planning, and Diane Dean, Executive Administrator of VPFA.
