Columbia Community Service (CCS) 57th Annual Appeal

Each year, Columbia Community Service asks the University community to contribute to its annual appeal to support community-based organizations based in the area surrounding the University. Last year’s appeal raised $219,000, which was distributed to local organizations that serve children, the elderly, homeless people, and others.

This year's 57th Annual Appeal continues that tradition and will help provide scholarships for children at day-care centers and after-school programs, support for local soup kitchens, programs for senior citizens, shelter for the homeless, among many other non-profit services.

Gifts can be made through payroll deductions, by check or money order payable to Columbia Community Service, or by billing your credit card. Donations can be made online at www.columbia.edu/cu/annualappeal or through Human Resources. For further information, call Debbie Kahlstrom at x3198.
