New Dean for U's College of Education and Human Development

The University of Minnesota has named Darlyne Bailey as dean of its new College of Education and Human Development. Subject to approval by the Board of Regents, Bailey is expected to start on Oct. 1.
The University of Minnesota has named Darlyne Bailey as dean of its new College of Education and Human Development. Subject to approval by the Board of Regents, Bailey is expected to start on Oct. 1.

Bailey, 53, is currently vice president for academic affairs and dean of Teachers College at Columbia University.

"This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to build a unique college that will truly make a difference in countless lives," Bailey said.
