The Alumni News Director's Message

DEAR ALUMNI, WELCOME TO A NEW ALUMNI SECTION

DEAR ALUMNI,

Welcome to the new alumni section of TC Today, now with more information on ways to reconnect or expand your involvement with your alma mater. Beginning with this issue, an expanded and redesigned section called Alumni Today will be devoted exclusively to recapping past alumni events and updating you on future goings on around the College.

As the new Director of the Office of Alumni Relations, I see strengthening our existing programming and communications as my top priorities; Alumni Today in TC Today represents the first step in that direction.

Since beginning my job in March, I have been discovering the remarkable legacy of Teachers College and its graduates. I am extremely proud to have been given the opportunity to work with such a distinguished group of alumni.

Every one of you whom I've had the pleasure of speaking with since I joined TC has conveyed that our alumni are a vital force in the life of the College and the global community it serves. I look forward to your leadership, guidance and participation in broadening existing initiatives and creating new programs.

As we welcome our new president, Dr. Susan H. Fuhrman, and usher in a new era of leadership and growth, this is an exciting time in the life of the College. I urge you to stay connected and be an active participant in this new chapter in TC history.

Sincerely,

Grace Greenwich

Director, Alumni Relations
