The Department of Arts & Humanities hosts its Fall A&H in the City event, which is FREE and open to TC Alumni from the A&H department, on November 13, 2017 from 6:00pm – 9:00pm at the The Joan Weill Center for Dance, home of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.  Attendees will be led in a movement workshop by Ailey Arts In Education Master Teacher and former company member, Nasha Thomas focusing on Mr. Ailey’s work Night Creature, a fusion of Ailey’s buoyant choreography and Duke Ellington’s sparkling music. Participants will then be part of a thought-provoking discussion with TC Faculty Patricia Martínez-Álvarez (Bilingual/Bicultural Education), Adele Bruni Ashley (English Education and Co-Founder of Literacy Unbound) and Drew Coles (Music & Music Education). Dinner will be served.
