Alumni & New Graduates Event - A&H in the City: Apollo Theater

The Department of Arts & Humanities is thrilled to host its final A&H in the City event of the season for A&H alumni and new A&H graduates on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, from 6:00-9:00pm at the iconic Apollo Theater. Attendees will learn about the history of The Apollo and will be led in an interactive "Lyrics Across Time" workshop which encourages understanding of how social, cultural, and historical connections are made between musical expression and other classroom subjects. After the workshop attendees will engage in a thought-provoking discussing led by TC Associate Professor Yolanda Sealy-Ruiz (English Education).

The event is FREE, but space is limited and you must RSVP here: http://bit.ly/2oNyKJC.
