TC C&T PhD Student Daiyu Suzuki invites TC musicians to volunteer

Musicians wanted!!

The event will take place on May 21 (Sat) in the large courtyard on the corner of 123rd and Morningside Ave. We are seeking musicians who would be willing to donate their musical talents between 2-4pm during the event. Please feel free to contact our school’s parent association at paofps125@gmail.com for more information. We will not have rehearsals, but we are hoping for the kind of music that the kids can dance to or get involved with in some way.

Please consider contributing to support our Spring Festival for our scholars and the entire community. PS 125 Ralph Bunche is the first progressive public school in Harlem (just a few blocks away from TC) with 84% of its students coming from families living below the poverty line. To defy the challenges caused by poverty and the lack of educational funding, the parent association is doing all it can to support the school. Along with the school’s teachers and administrators, we are dedicated to helping young people make bold and valuable decisions with their lives while acting as a force for positive social change. The Ralph Bunche School depends on partnerships with generous organizations and businesses in the community in order to bring our children and families a more complete educational environment.

Thank you very much!!
