Course 5518 examines how gender, class, race, ethnicity, and sexual orientation issues may impact learning and teaching in classrooms. It also emphasizes and models culturally responsive teaching. On this particular day, Dr. Sealey-Ruiz, Associate Professor of English Education, and her class discuss the challenges and rewards of teaching adolescent boys of color.
