"Activity-based therapies for repair of the corticospinal system injured during development"

Physiology and Pharmacology Medical Professor in The City College of New York's Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education

 Dr. Martin research focuses on spinal cord injury and the development of motor behavior. The Martin lab works to develop a new understanding of the connections between the brain and spinal cord that control movement addressing brain development as well as recovery of movement function after brain or spinal injury, and translating it to therapies for humans with mobility impairments.
