A fundamental way to help students enjoy reading was to teach them reading
strategies that could help them keep track of their comprehension on their own so that their understanding toward reading could be enhanced. The purpose of the study was to enhance students’ reading comprehension by teaching them the Think-Aloud Strategy so that they could monitor their comprehension when they read on their own.
