NOTE: If you have already created an account for the journal TC Record, you may use the same login and password; CICE and TC Record use the same system.

EDITORIAL POLICIES [top]

CICE is an electronic journal that publishes articles related to current issues and debates in the field of comparative and international education development. CICE encourages submissions from students, academics, practitioners and others interested in joining this international journal community.

All submitted manuscripts will be externally reviewed. Publication decisions are made ultimately by the CICE Editoral Board. If your manuscript has been selected to be published, you will be notified within five to six weeks upon receipt of your original manuscript. CICE accepts submissions on a rolling basis. For that reason it is to your advantage to submit earlier during the call for papers period rather than later. The pre-publication editing process will begin immediately upon acceptance of your submission and all authors are expected to respond to this process with reasonable alacrity. Any revisions and edits to the manuscript will be made only with the final approval of the authors. Revisions cannot be made after an article has been published on-line, even though the nature of the medium allows this.

The accuracy of information presented in CICE articles is the responsibility of the authors. The views presented in CICE are the personal views of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of the journal’s Editorial Board or Teachers College, CU.

In each issue CICE provides a number of links to websites that provide additional resources on the topics being discussed. CICE Links are intended to provide additional information and suggest additional resources and should not be taken to reflect the views or an extension of the views of the author(s) or of the journal.

Please refer to the above submission guidelines before submitting a manuscript to CICE to ensure accuracy and expediency.

CICE EXTERNAL REVIEW [top]

We actively solicit external reviewers from diverse backgrounds and with wide ranging academic interests and specializations. External Reviewers are required to have access to email; the External Reviewer Application is available on-line.
