I.S. 129 Principal Yvette Beasley Joins CEI-PEI

2009 Cahn Fellow Yvette Beasley has retired as principal of the Twin Parks Upper School in the Bronx, and is now a CEI-PEI consultant. Before her 14 years as principal of I.S. 129 and three years as Assistant Principal, Yvette wasan elementary school Bilingual teacher, Attendance Program director and an ESL curriculum designer for a Bronx district.

 

2010 Cahn Fellow William Fiorelli Retires from P.S. 37

Veteran Principal Bill Fiorelli, a 2010 Cahn Fellow, has retired from P.S. 37R, a Pre K- 12 District 75 school serving students with autism and multiple disabilities in Staten Island. For eight years, Fiorelli led special education programs at P.S. 37 as Principal, and previously served as an Assistant Principal, special education teacher and 2006 Cahn Ally.

2009 Cahn Fellow Paulette Glenn Retires from P.S. 80
 
In 2002, Paulette Glenn became interim principal of the Thurgood Marshall, P.S. 80, a K-5 barrier free school located in Southeast Queens. For nine years, she served as school leader as well as an executive committee member of the Council of Supervisors and Administrators. She recently retired as Thurgood Marshall School and is now working as a consultant.
