Paula Holmes has spent more than 25 years in the public schools as a teacher, middle school coordinator,curriculum specialist, middle school assistant principal, middle school principal and high school principal. Additionally, she is a College Board training coach for principals around the country and works in conjunction with the College Board Leadership Institute for Principals. She has served as an adjunct professor and facilitator for the Comer model with Yale University. She has served schools and other organizations in both the public and private sectors as a consultant and facilitator in various aspects of school reform, organization development, and professional development. Her strong belief in the importance of collaboration has influenced her efforts to assist staffs at all levels to understand and experience the benefits of establishing a culture of professionalism as a learning community. Sheis currently the Principal of Dr. Susan S. McKinney Secondary School of the Arts, in Fort Greene.Her school is a nationally certified AVID school and a member of the College Board.
