Live Music: Lu Wang (Classical Duet)

Lu Wang started playing the violin at the age of five. During her teenage years, Lu participated in a national violin contest and won the national fourth and regional first. She made her debut by playing Haydn Violin Concerto No. 1 in C Major at the age of 14. Lu was an orchestra member in college, and performed in various music events as a solo player or as part of the orchestra. Her favorite music pieces are mostly from classical period. She is currently studying Comparative and International Education at TC.

The Everett Cafe proudly sponsors 1-hour musical performances by musicians, solo through to quintets, from the Teachers College community. Whether eclectic blues, Latin jazz, traditional folk, or classical with a gypsy twist, there is variety and talent to be enjoyed as you sip your Starbucks; mingle with friends and colleagues; peruse bestsellers and news; or simply study.

Anyone interested in participating in the Everett Cafe music program is welcome to contact RussellHallServices@gmail.com for further details.
