San Francisco Alumni Reception & Maxine Greene Society Film Screening

Please join Teachers College Alumni and the Maxine Greene Society for an exclusive film screening of the documentary “Wham! Bam! Islam!” on September 8, 2012 at 4:00 p.m.

“Wham! Bam! Islam!” is produced by TC alumnus Naif Al-Mutawa, and the film chronicles the various challenges he faced leading up to the creation of his comic book series THE 99 - a team of superheroes, each exemplifying one of the 99 virtues of Allah. A Q&A with Naif Al-Mutawa and filmmaker Isaac Solotaroff, followed by a reception, will take place immediately after the film. For more information on the documentary, please visit

Caltrain to San Francisco Station, then transfer to Muni Metro.
BART to Embarcadero, then transfer to Muni Metro.
Muni Metro Streetcar to Brannan & The Embarcadero (stops directly in front of the venue)
