Film Talk: TEACH, with Kappa Delta Pi

In partnership with TC's Kappa Delta Pi, the Gottesman Libraries invites you to attend a film screening and discussion of David Guggenheim's award-winning documentary, TEACH. This powerful 35 minute film "chronicles the determination and commitment of four young teachers as they fight the real fight: educating our children." It raises fundamental questions about the teaching profession and its impact upon our lives and those of the next generation. If America needs over two million new teachers within the next ten years, who will they be, how will they be educated, what challenges will they face, and why they will make a difference?

Leading the Q&A is Mary Anne Woody, the new president of Kappa Delta Pi. Ms. Woody is an M.Ed/ M.A. Candidate at Teachers College, pursuing her studies in Hearing Impairment and Adolescence Education.

Persons interested in attending may rsvp with details via online support in advance of Monday, October 21st.
