Live Music: Tim Sullivan (Jazz Duet)

Tim Sullivan is the founder and director of Open Road Music, a network of music educators who provide music lessons and group classes to people of all ages. A player of multiple woodwind instruments, including the saxophone, Tim also teaches jazz at Lincoln Center's Early Childhood Music Program, Webop, where he also served as consultant, lyricist, arranger, vocalist, and instrumentalist. He is an adjunct faculty member at Long Island University where he maintains a woodwind studio. He is pursuing an EdD in music and music education at Teachers College, Columbia University and is also the Director of Programing for JazzReach, Inc., a NYC based arts non-profit dedicated to fostering wider awareness, appreciation, and education for jazz in young audiences.

Everett Cafe to the Second Floor, the Gottesman Libraries' is a happenin' place; each week we feature the exceptional and diverse talent of TC students (or affiliated musicians) who perform and/or play jazz, classical, folk, bluegrass, world, rhythm & blues, spiritual, and much more.
