Have you made your plans for Academic Festival 2015?
This year's festival will feature...
Academic Festival 2015 will feature a special keynote address on the role of mindfulness in education, presented by Goldie Hawn, Academy Award-winning actress, producer, director, author and the founder of The Hawn Foundation, which equips children to lead smarter, healthier, happier lives. Goldie Hawn is the visionary behind behind MindUp™, a unique social and emotional development program that builds children's resilience and improves academic performance. Student Poster Session
As with every year, this year's Academic Festival will bring together TC alumni, faculty, students - both current and newly admitted - and friends. In keeping with the theme, Ignite. Inspire. Innovate., we are excited to announce that this year we will showcase the innovation of current TC students in a student research poster presentation and networking event. This will be an exciting opportunity for current students to share their talent and expertise with the entire TC Community. We have already received a wide range of topic submissions, and students can continue to email their 100-200-word abstracts to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note: the deadline for poster submissions has been EXTENDED to midnight on March 6. The student with the most innovative poster will receive a scholarship equal to 1-credit point (a $1,398 equivalent)! For more information, visit bit.ly/AcFestPosterSession.
