TCCS Programs & Events
Throughout the fall and spring semester, attend a workshop to learn how to write a resume and to negotiate your salary. Attend an employer information session to learn more about an organization you are interested in pursuing. Come to a panel to hear from TC Alumni who are teachers working outside of the classroom or who have advanced their education by getting a doctorate degree.

The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) connects campus recruiting and career services professionals, and provides best practices, trends, research, professional development, and conferences. NACE Job Choices Magazines are now available in digital format. Magazines feature job-search advice and interview tips, sample cover letters and resumes, links to employer websites, and more! Career Counseling Appointments
We are available for individual appointments -- either in person or by phone -- to assist you with your career development needs. We also offer the Strong Interest Inventory and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) to help you assess your career interests and skills (nominal fee charged). All counseling sessions are confidential. Call us at (212) 678-3140 to set up an appointment.
TC Career Services (TCCS) Career Counseling Appointment Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide TCCS with at least twenty-four (business) hours notice so that we can make that appointment time available to another student or alum. If - for any reason - you fail to advise us that you cannot make an appointment, your appointment will be recorded as a "No Show." If you accrue three "No Shows" during a semester, you will not be allowed to schedule further appointments at TCCS during that semester.

To have your career documents reviewed, you must first register on TCCS LINK, our online job database. After your registration is complete, email your resume, curriculum vitae, cover letter and/or personal statement to email@example.com
. One of our career counselors will review your career document(s), make suggestions and return it to you within 8 business days.
