Student Services

  • Career Counseling
    We are available for individual counseling appointments - either in person or by phone - to assist you with your career development needs. We also offer Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and Strong Interest Inventory testing to help you assess your career interests and skills. (These assessment tools are available for a nominal fee.) Please call Career Services at (212) 678-3140 to set up an appointment.

  • Walk-In Hours
    Stop by for a "quick" (10-15 minute) counseling appointment with one of our staff members. Bring your resume for a review, ask questions about an upcoming interview or seek TCCS LINK assistance.
    Please note:
    This service is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The walk-in hours are on Mondays from 12:00-2:00 p.m. and on Wednesdays from 4:00-6:00 p.m. during the academic year. Walk-in hours are available from Memorial Day to Labor Day on Wednesdays from 4:00-6:00 p.m.


  • Resume and Cover Letter Review
    To have your job search documents reviewed, first register with TCCS LINK (see Jobs and Recruitment section). After your registration is completed, simply email your resume/CV/cover letter to careerservices@tc.edu or drop it off in Career Services (44 Horace Mann) and one of our counselors will review it, make suggestions, and return it to you within seven business days. You may also choose to make an appointment with one of our career counselors to review your career documents in person. Please call Career Services at (212) 678-3140 to set up an appointment.

  • Mock Interviews
    Schedule a mock interview with one of our counselors to practice your interview skills and receive feedback about how to improve your performance for the actual event. Call our office at 212-678-3140 to schedule a mock interview appointment.

TCCS Resources

  • TCCS LINK
    TCCS's online job database, TCCS LINK, allows employers to promote career opportunities exclusively to TC students and alumni. As an alumnus/a, you have access to TCCS LINK, which is accessible online 24 hours per day. If you need assistance using this resource, our staff is available for one-on-one tutorials.

    • TCCS LINK Job Search (General Job Postings)
      TCCS LINK is an online job posting database utilized to promote career opportunities and recruitment initiatives to TC students and alumni. TCCS LINK enables you to:
      1. Search full-time and part-time job openings, as well as internships and volunteer opportunities - updated daily!
      2. Electronically submit your resume, curriculum vitae (CV), and cover letter to employers
      3. View employer on-campus interviews schedules and resume drops
      4. View and register for career service programs/workshops, career fairs, and employer presentations
      5. Maintain a personal calendar; manage multiple resumes, curriculum vitas (CVs), cover letters, other employment related documents
      6. Receive personal messages regarding upcoming career services events
      7. Access an online resource library
      8. Make your resume accessible to TC employers and/or to a national employer database

    • TCCS LINK Interview Schedules & Resume Drops
      Employers coordinate their campus recruitment efforts online with TCCS. By signing up with TCCS LINK you can:
      1. Submit your resume for campus & employment site interviews
      2. Sign up for campus interviews
      3. Participate in resume collections for employer site recruitment

  • TCCS Library & Resource Area
    Visit the TCCS library, which is filled with useful resources to help you define your career goals and conduct an effective job search. Click here to view the online library inventory. We also have computers, printers and scanners available for your job search needs.

  • Graduate School Preparation
    Interested in pursuing another degree? Learn more about the process and resources available by visiting the TCCS library and/or scheduling an appointment with one of our counselors.

  • Credential Files
    We have partnered with a credentials management service, Interfolio, Inc., to offer you a more efficient way of managing your credential file. Now, for a small fee, you can have 24/7 online access to your credentials.   • Reciprocity Agreements
