Faculty Resources
As a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers, TCCS is pleased to offer you guides targeting various faculty needs: Alumni Mentor Program (LinkedIn Group)
Teachers College Career Services (TCCS) is proud to announce that, as of October 1, 2012, our former Alumni Mentoring & Career Networking Program housed within TCCS LINK has transitioned to the TCCS LinkedIn group titled ‘Teachers College Career Services (TCCS), Columbia University’. TCCS is currently utilizing LinkedIn for all alumni mentor and networking purposes and we are confident about this transition as it will significantly enhance the TC community’s opportunity to network. Students are encouraged to reach out to alumni through this LinkedIn group in order to help them explore different career opportunities, build professional contacts, and gain 'real world' perspectives from people working in their field. The LinkedIn profiles for TC alumni will serve as their alumni mentor profile and will be visible to all members of the LinkedIn group.
Students will continue to have the opportunity to network with alumni as well as fellow students through the LinkedIn platform. Currently there are over 1,200 members and the number is growing fast. According to the LinkedIn website, as of December 31, 2012, their worldwide membership includes over 200 million professionals. To learn more about LinkedIn, please click here.
Keep enthusiastic alumni involved by encouraging them to join our LinkedIn group in order to network with students and fellow alumni. TCCS is very excited as our new LinkedIn Group ‘Teachers College Career Services (TCCS), Columbia University’ has become our new Alumni Mentor Program.
