Curriculum Vitae


Well, hey there! You found me. I am a first year Psychological Counseling masters student. Although often mistaken for an acting student, I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine, in 2012. During my time there I did some research on homework habits and parent-child relationships, as well as investigating queueing behaviors for patrons at a Southern California theme park. Before coming to Teachers College, I worked full-time as the Interim Education Director of a children's theatre and as a research assistant at Stanford University, exploring various topics related to emotion regulation. I am very excited to be joining the Marginalization, Mental Health, and Empowerment team. My research interests as they now stand are LGBTQ issues and specifically the experiences of gender non-conforming people, autism, trauma, suicidality, sexual fluidity, and intersectionality. When not doing coursework or reading, I like to sketch, jog, pet-sit, play the ukulele, and sing.
