About the Current Team
I am currently a candidate for the Ed.M. Psychological Counseling degree at Teachers College, Columbia University. I graduated from McGill University in with a B.A. in Psychology and Linguistics, with minors in French and Sexuality Diversity Studies. My research interest is primarily in the intersectionality of identities and identity formation, with a particular focus on the effects of language use and cognition in acculturation and queer identity. My general interests cover microaggressions and minority stress, cultural and non-heteronormative competence, criminality, and masculinity and homophobia. Other than research, I also love creating stories, learning languages, making films, inventing food dishes, traveling, and meeting friends!
