About the Current Team
I am a third year Counseling Psychology doctoral student. I was born and raised in the New York/New Jersey area. I love the city life but also have a great love for the ocean. I graduated from Stonehill College in 2008 with a bachelors degree in Psychology and Fine Arts and a minor in Sociology. I earned my masters degree from Boston College in Mental Health Counseling in 2011. I currently work as one of the Teachers College Winter Roundtable Coordinators and am the Research Team Director for our team. My research interests include minority stress -- specifically with individuals who have invisible chronic health conditions, trauma, stigma, religion/spirituality/atheism, and LGBTQ issues. I love animals, cooking, running, photography/painting and comedy!
