About the Current Team

Negar Morshedian

I am currently enrolled in the Ed.M. program in Psychological Counseling at Teachers College, Columbia University. I earned my B.S. from the University of British Columbia with a major in psychology.

My undergraduate research was primarily focused on the role of culture and religiosity on female sexual functioning. After graduating, I worked at the University of Toronto on research projects with a focus on attachment styles and intimate relationships.

My current research interests include the effects of culture and religiosity on human sexuality and overall mental health functioning. In my spare time I enjoy exploring the city, cooking, and experimenting with DIY crafts!
