About our Ongoing ProjectsOur research focuses on how societal structures and attitudes shape identity development and growth for members of marginalized groups. We are currently engaged in a number of projects examining:
Marginalized Identities: Populations that are stigmatized, oppressed, and generally underrepresented in social stata.
Atheism and Irreligiosity: Focus on the the broad spectrum of the philosophies of life and living.
Body Image: Muscularity, masculinity, body objectificiation, and disordered eating among racial and ethnic minority groups and LGBTQ people.
Activism and Social Justice: Although prevalent in all of our research, certain projects highlight the social impact of psychological research.
