Over 15% of New York City’s principals have benefited from this program. The Cahn Fellows Program offers distinguished principals a network that helps them to influence educational practice on a scale larger than their own schools- while staying in their schools. Since the Program's founding in 2002, 20 - 25 exemplary public school principals have been awarded Fellowships each year. Collectively, the Cahn Fellows working in New York City schools directly impact the lives of over 225,000 children every year.
Cahn Fellow principals lead schools in every borough of New York City, as well as in Newark, New Jersey and Chicago, Illinois.
