Awards Related to Center on Chinese Education
Professor Mun Tsang, Director of Center on Chinese Education has received the 2004 Richard Swanson Excellence in Research Award from the American Academy of Human Resource Development. The award is for the best rated research article "Participation and non-participation in education and training in Shenzhen," coauthored by Jin Xiao and Mun Tsang, and published in the Quarterly Journal of Human Resource Development.
Professor Mun Tsang has also received an Education-For-Poverty Reduction Award from Yunnan Education Society, Yunnan Province. The award recognizes Tsang's contribution to poverty reduction through education projects in Yunnan in the fifteen years between 1990 and 2005.
