Professor Mingyuan Gu is Honorary Professor of Teachers College Columbia University

Professor Mingyuan Gu (顾明远) is Honorary Professor of Teachers College Columbia University

Teachers College Columbia University has awarded the Honorary Professor Medal to Professor Mingyuan Gu of Beijing Normal University. The award recognizes Professor Gu’s sustained and excellent contributions to teaching, research, and public service in education in China. It is the first award of its kind to a Chinese scholar in education. The medal was presented to Professor Gu on October 14, 2008 by Professor Henry Levin, on behalf of Teachers College Columbia University.
