Project on Lifelong Education for Migrant Workers in Urban China

A new research and development project on lifelong education for migrant workers in urban China begins in fall 2005. The project seeks to identify the learning needs migrant workers, develop prototype models of lifelong education for these workers, and evaluate the initial testing of these models. It involves faculty members and graduate students from Teachers College Columbia University, East China Normal University, and Peking University.
