The Eighth Advanced Seminar on Education Leadership was held at Teachers College
The eighth Advanced Seminar on Education Leadership
was held at Teachers College Columbia University on September 21th to 25th,
2009. It consisted of presentations and discussion at Teachers
College. Like the previous seminars, the major theme of the
seminar focused on effective education leadership and school reform.
The speakers shared their experiences and research in the standards of
effective school leadership, teacher evaluation, school finance, and so
on. Participants consisted of 35 primary and secondary school
principals, chancellors, and educators from Qingdao City,China.
The
Chinese delegation was led by Mrs. Hui Jin of the Center Education
Development, Chinese Society of Education. At Teachers College,
Professor Mun Tsang was the organizer while Mr. Dakai Li and Ms. Sophia
Zhang were the project managers.
