The Ninth Advanced Seminar on Education Leadership was held at Teachers College
The ninth Advanced Seminar on Education Leadership
was held at Teachers College Columbia University on November 8th to 12th,
2010. It consisted of presentations and discussion at Teachers
College. Like the previous seminars, the major theme of the
seminar focused on effective education leadership and school reform.
The speakers shared their experiences and research in the standards of
effective school leadership, teacher evaluation, school finance, and so
on. Participants consisted of 35 primary and secondary school
principals, chancellors, and educators from Chengdu City, Jinan City, and other cities in China.
The
Chinese delegation was led by Mr. WANG Wei of the Center Education
Development, Chinese Society of Education. At Teachers College,
Professor Mun Tsang was the organizer while Mr. Dakai Li, Ms. Xin Gong and Mr. Haogen Yao were the project managers.
