READING BUDDY

 

Impact a child’s life

Earn a 3 credit tuition scholarship each semester

  Work one-on-one with students in Harlem and Northern Manhattan to improve their literacy skills

Eligibility:

·       Have a love of reading

·       Have experience and/or desire to work with elementary school students to improve their reading

·       Be able to commit to 2.5 hours a day

·       Have a strong initiative to identify and resolve literacy challenges facing students

·       Be reliable and dependable

·       Be creative and flexible

Or send it to box 54, or in person to the Reading Buddies Application Box in the Dean's office before September 13th, 2006.

Decisions will be made on a rolling bases
