Cassandra Laboy
Group Leader
Cassandra was born and raised in, and currently lives in Brookyn, NY. She graduated from the High School for Leadership and Public Service where her favorite subject was Leadership Law. After graduating she attended Syracuse University where she majored in Child and Family Studies.
Cassandra’s favorite thing about after-school is being able to be an additional help for students while they work on their homework. In her spare time Cassandra enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her friends and family. You can email Cassandra at Cassie0714@gmail.com
Edison Fernandez
Group Leader
Edison is originally from the Dominican Republic and currently lives in the Washington Heights Neighborhood of New York City. He attended high school at the Coalition School for Social Change where his favorite subject was math. He currently attends the John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He is currently majoring in criminal justice but is looking forward to changing his major to education so he can become a teacher!

Estefani Mujica

Estefani is from New York, she lives in Dyckman. She attended Health Career and Science High School where her favorite subject was Math. She is currently enrolled at Bronx Community college where she studies Liberal Arts and Human Resources.
Estefani’s favorite things about after-school are meeting new students and learning so many things about them. She loves spending time with the kids. Grace Valera
Site Coordinator
Grace is originally from the Dominican Republic but now lives in the Bronx. She graduated from Adlai E. Stevenson High School where her favorite subject was science. She graduated and went to college where she majored in Bilingual Education.
Grace’s favorite things about after-school are helping students make new friends, try new things, and ultimately reach their highest potential in a safe, structured environment. In her spare time Grace enjoys reading, cooking and designing sugar flowers.
Jacqueline Duran
Assistant Program Director
Jacqueline Duran is the Assistant Program Director of the Children's Arts and Science Workshop after-school program at PS 115. Jacqueline is from the Dominican Republic, she currently lives in New York City. She attended high school in New York City where her favorite subject was math, a subject that remains her favorite today! Jacqueline went to college in the Bronx where she majored in Business Administration.

Mario Veloz
CASW Program Aide
Mario Veloz is originally from the Dominican Republic and currently lives in Washington Heights, New York. Mario went to high school at La Salle Academy where his favorite subject was math. Mario currently attends Bronx Community College where his major is Criminal Justice.
Mario's favorite thing about after-school is that he gets to use his educational skills to influence younger students to do better in school. In his spare time Mario enjoys volunteering to help out his community.
Mayellyn Rodriguez

Mayellyn Rodriguez is originally from the Dominican Republic. She now lives in New York City. She attended George Washington High School, then went onto the Katherine Gibbs Institute where she studied Business Administration Management.
Mayellyn's favorite thing about being a Group Leader in the CASW after-school program at PS 115 is that she gets to help the students with their homework and with basic skills that will help them in the long run. Mirelis is from, and currently lives in, New York City. She graduated from the High School for Leadership and Public Service where her favorite subjects were English and U.S. History. After high school she attended and graduated from Syracuse University where she studied International Relations.

Yuderkis Taveras

Yuderkis Taveras is originally from the Dominican Republic and now lives in New York. She went to high school in the Dominican Republic, while studying there her favorite subject was Algebra. Yuderkis went to college in New York, she attended the Borough of Manhattan Community College where she majored in Business Management.
