WORK AND THE OPPORTUNITY IN THE
POST-INDUSTRIAL LABOR MARKET
The Institute has recently completed a major project that examines how economic
restructuring in the United States has affected the career development and mobility paths
of young workers. The project was supported by grants from the Russell Sage and Rockefeller Foundations. A team of investigators
headed the project: Dr. Annette Bernhardt (former Senior Research Associate at the
Institute), Dr. Martina Morris (Pennsylvania State University), Dr. Mark Handcock
(Pennsylvania State University), and Dr. Marc Scott (former Senior
Research Associate at the Institute).
