Mindfulness Interventions with Youth: A Meta-Analysis
Sarah Zoogman

Co-Sponsored by the Vice President's Office for Diversity and Community Affairs, The Gottesman Libraries, and Student Activities

Thursday, November 29, 12-1:30 pm

Sarah will discuss findings of a recent meta-analysis (Zoogman, Goldberg, Hoyt, and Miller, 2012; under review) that examined the effectiveness of mindfulness interventions with youth.  A meta-analysis combines findings from independent studies to evaluate treatment effectiveness.  The talk will include an overview of mindfulness interventions, the research findings, and the implications of these findings for future mindfulness interventions with children and adolescents.
