The Accent Modification Program at the Edward D. Mysak Clinic for Communication Disorders is an intense eight-week individualized program aimed at improving spoken communication in English. After a comprehensive evaluation, each client meets weekly with a graduate intern in speech/language pathology for a program tailored to that client's specific needs. All services are directly supervised by our licensed and certified supervisory staff. Scheduling is flexible and may include early evening hours.
This program is aimed at foreign-born students, faculty, and staff who feel their communication effectiveness and employment options are limited by intelligibility issues. Individual practice materials are provided for structured practice between sessions.
