The Accent Modification Program at the Edward D. Mysak Clinic for Communication Disorders is an intense 12-week individualized program aimed at improving English pronunciation. After a comprehensive evaluation a program is tailored to meet the client's specific needs.
This program is aimed at foreign-born students, faculty, and staff who feel their communication effectiveness and employment options are limited by intelligibility issues. Individual practice materials are provided for structured practice between sessions.
Please note that Accent Modification therapy is not covered by insurance. Clients who seek accent modification therapy at the Mysak Clinic are not eligible for a sliding fee scale.
