College readiness upon entry to college is an important predictor of college success. This research addresses a range of ways that colleges in Texas are engaging high schools in initiatives designed to reduce the need for remediation in college. Using multiple methods to investigate existing models, we present a typology of partnerships and programs and discuss ways to identify those with the greatest potential for scale-up and/or further research.
