The Center for Opportunities and Outcomes for People with Disabilities continues to sponsor on an annual basis a 1 or 2 day conference on critical issues in special education. The Center also sponsors an online course (HBSE 4880) which culminates in the workshop-conference activities. The HBSE 4880 course is open to ALL students and is available for 1-2 credits each Spring.
Recent Conferences sponsored by the O&O Center have featured national/international speakers along with key researchers from the greater NYC area with a changing Theme each year depending upon critical issues in the field.
