Institute on Complementary Practices
This is a broad-based initiative supported by the National Center for Disability Services, Albertson, NY which explores the efficacy and demonstration of developing complementary educational/therapeutic practices involving children with severe physical disabilities. Current research and development includes programs involving conductive education, Adeli Suit therapy and similar types of pedagogy. It is an international effort including partners in the U.S. and abroad.
