Gemma Moya-Gale
Gemma graduated 1st class with Honors from the University of Barcelona in English Literature and Linguistics. She holds an MA in Applied Linguistics. Her MA thesis was about Cross-Linguistic Speech Perception. She was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to pursue a MS in Speech and Language Pathology at Teachers College, Columbia University. Her field of interest is cross-linguistic speech perception, with a special focus on vowel perception by Spanish and Catalan learners of English. She loves learning languages (she speaks German and Mandarin Chinese), traveling and good coffee!!!
