Welcome to the Swallowing, Voice and Neuroimaging (SVN) Laboratory at Teachers College, Columbia University! The SVN laboratory is the newest clinical research laboratory of the Speech-Language Pathology program within the Department of Biobehavioral Sciences at Teachers College, Columbia University.
SVNL is under the direction of Professor Georgia Malandraki.
Our laboratory houses four fully-equipped fMRI analysis workstations, voice and respiratory physiology recording and analysis equipment and multiple swallowing diagnostic and intervention tools, including a FEES swallowing station.
