FACULTY TECHNOLOGY LUNCHES.

We have started our 2009 tech lunches with the purpose of discussing what functions are critical to our next teaching and learning environment. Here is a list of functions.

FIRST LUNCH Thursday, October 15, 2009.
Comparison and grading of ClassWeb, Blackboard, Sakai and Moodle on the basis of the functions above.

SECOND LUNCH Tuesday, October 15, 2009.
Faculty who have used MOODLE in their teaching talks about their experiences using this tool

PASSWORD WARNING

Please DO NOT share your password with anyone else. With the advent of myTC, anyone logging in with your UNI and password can see all your private information (e.g. payroll, benefits, faculty communications, etc.) If you think someone may know your password or if you haven't changed your password since 2004, please CHANGE it at uni.columbia.edu, and take advantage of increased protection.

PASSWORD TIPS

Internet Browsers like Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari Crome etc tend to store information such as the websites you visit, passwords you use etc. Sometimes the password gets stored automatically and it may cause login problems. See what you need to do to avoid this problem
